I am a New York based actor, singer, dancer and professional redhead. Bring on the ginger jokes - I've heard them all. A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama, I studied under Kent Gash, Michael McElroy, Michele Shay, Darryl Tookes and other extraordinary teachers.
My first public performance was on the balcony of my grandparents' home in Istanbul, Turkey at age two. My family relocated to Seattle, Washington, land of coffee-drinking, rain, hipsters and the Seahawks. Seattle is also home to the Seattle Children’s Theatre where I took drama classes and performed for sixteen years beginning at age three. Despite my family’s best efforts to raise a math major (so close…) the rest, as they say, was history.
While I’ll always be a Pacific Northwest girl at heart, the fast-paced and direct nature of New York City agrees with me so I have made NYC my home. A convenient decision because I was raised to be urban savvy and was never quite taught how to camp.
I enjoy teaching drama, competitive swimming, salads that somebody else makes for me and yes, math.
